Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains what Esprio ("Esprio: Brain Games & IQ Test"), published by INDIGATE LLC, collects, why, and what you can do about it. In short: no account, no ads, no tracking, and only what the app needs to save your progress.
In short
- You never give us your name, email address or password. Esprio uses a random, anonymous identifier.
- We store your game results to save your history, adjust difficulty and choose your daily sessions.
- We show no ads, do not track you across other apps or websites, and never sell your data.
- You can ask us to delete everything tied to your identifier.
What we collect
- An anonymous identifier, created when you first open the app. It is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account.
- Game data: the games you play, your scores, response times, difficulty levels, IQ test answers and results, and the days you played.
- Settings: language, time zone and the reminder time you choose.
- Purchase information: your subscription status and transaction records, provided by Apple through Adapty (see below).
- Social features, if you use them: the nickname you choose (optional), your friend code, your list of friends, the challenges you send and receive, the rooms you create or join, and your scores in live rounds.
Esprio does not access your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.
Why we use it
- To save your progress and show your statistics.
- To adapt the difficulty of each game and pick your daily session.
- To provide the subscription you bought.
- To run friends, challenges, rooms and leaderboards when you use them.
- To keep the service working and secure.
Friends, challenges, rooms and leaderboards
Other players never see your identifier, only a separate public profile: your nickname if you chose one, otherwise “Player” followed by a short tag. Your friends see your nickname and streak. Members of a room see your nickname, whether you are online in the room, and your scores there. The world leaderboard shows your nickname and best scores only if you chose a nickname; the friends leaderboard shows you to your friends. You can change or remove your nickname, remove a friend or leave a room at any time.
Reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your iPhone as a local notification. You can turn it off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
The coach
The coach that suggests your sessions and explains your IQ test result may use an AI service from Anthropic. Our server sends it only aggregated game statistics, never your identifier or any personal detail, and Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
Service providers
- Railway hosts our server and database in the United States.
- Adapty manages subscriptions: it receives your anonymous identifier and purchase records from Apple to confirm your subscription. See Adapty’s privacy policy.
- Apple processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Anthropic may process aggregated game statistics for the coach, as described above.
We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Storing your game data and providing your subscription is necessary to perform our contract with you. Keeping the service secure relies on our legitimate interest. Reminders rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Retention
Game data is kept while you use the app and deleted after 24 months without activity, or sooner on request. Purchase records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting rules.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries, with safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, object to or restrict its processing, and complain to your data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct their information; we do not sell or share personal information. Write tocontact@indigatellc.com with the identifier shown in Esprio’s Settings, so we can find your data.
Children
Esprio is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area, and we do not knowingly process their data.
Security
Data travels between the app, our server and our providers over encrypted connections, and access to our database is restricted.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
